When the Pandemic Hits...

In 2020, we went virtual. The Pandemic hit and our students went home. We quickly changed course in our teaching and developed a research activity that followed our unit theme of exploration and standards involved in researching and showing knowledge of informational text features, presentations, and multimedia use.

It was a good project but needed to be stepped up a notch.

So in 2021, I created a website that instructed the students on the steps to take.

The students took on the challenge and created some wonderful examples of their ability to collate and synthesize their research in a multimedia presentation.

The face-to-face students had a transformed room to set the scene too!
